Basketball Cake

I just started a new job working for a eye clinic as a receptionist/optician. I really enjoy my new job. The eye doctor in our office had her birthday this week and I thought it would be fun to make her a cake for the big day. She loves the color purple and basketball and so,here it is...
Per her request, a purple striped basketball. I got to try out a new shaped cake pan and it turned out really cute.
